Personal Anti Aging Health Plan

 Researching the best personal anti aging plan reveals two important fronts to consider.

The first, most critical front is actually a DIY health maintenance project demanding daily personal involvement in the context of “staying alive and well” while the second major front, anti aging therapy research and development, advances with or without your participation.

It should be obvious that one must stay alive and well until the time when effective rejuvenation therapies become available. Personal health maintenance involves your daily habits affecting optimum weight, nutrition, exercise, education , diet, not smoking, and staying current on anti aging therapies as they come online. There are entire books written on each of these subjects if you are so inclined at Amazon Books.

Fortunately, the second front, research and development of effective rejuvenation therapies is advancing with or without your personal participation, in colleges, hospitals, government and private labs around the world.

The most prominent DIY anti aging therapy currently available seems to be a calorie restriction diet. Of the many diets out there only calorie restriction has a proven track record of extending mammalian lifespans by up to 30 percent, at least in mice. A 30 percent longer lifespan may be just what one needs to still be alive when advanced anti aging therapies arrive.

In my quest for a healthy calorie restricted diet, a business associate swore he lost 11 pounds in one week without going hungry by using a free diet plan called the chicken soup diet. Skeptical, I researched it online, and it seems the main weight loss mechanism may be calorie reduction. I tried it and lost 8 pounds in 5 days without being hungry at all. That won't get me a 30% lifespan increase but it's a good start, fun, delicious, healthy, and if you make a big pot you won't have to cook the rest of the week! I love exploring! I'll take a week off, try to maintain the weight loss and then, for variety try a different low cal option. Two low cal retail diet plans I want to explore are The 100 Calorie Diet  and  The Negative Calorie Foods and Recipes Book

The primary focus of any anti aging health plan is not rocket science. It is a healthy lifestyle enabling you to stay alive and well while better anti aging products and therapies are being researched, developed and made available worldwide.
